“ A Court of Thorns and Roses” is a book series and a little birdie told me the other series are x2 better than the first book.
I’m not a big fan of fantasy fiction but this book is definitely a big YES for me. The book even provided a map of the Faerie and mortal world, which just made the imagery of the book better. It’s a very intriguing book and it made my imaginative mind travel. But don’t worry “blood gushing down” is too exaggerated to be imagined as real.Īs I mentioned earlier, the plot at the beginning was slow but then it picked up its pace into the middle of the A Court of Thorns and Roses and I couldn’t drop the book.
And oh yes, there was a lot of blood spilling and killing. I expected a battle for power before she died😂. but when the book introduced Amarantha her actions didn’t really fit the description Yes! deadly but wasn’t that deadly if she could be killed as a sacrificial lamb without a fight. Not because the descriptions weren’t apt but because there were too many creatures in the book to keep up with exactly how each one looked like.Īgain, the first half of a court of Thorns and Roses described Amarantha as someone or would I say something so vicious, deadly, and dangerous that her name wasn’t mentioned. There were times I found it hard to imagine some characters in the book so I just made them blank. Which was very nice for a short-lived romance. Also, I noticed the romance between Feyre and Tamlin was softcore. The plot of A Court of Thorns and Roses was snail-paced. Exactly! Similar storyline but a better representation of both stories.
